Position: Trainee Play Therapist

Professional background: Bsc. Applied Psychology (Ireland), graduating with first class honours in 2023. Currently a trainee play therapist at the University of Roehampton (MA). Before moving to London to pursue her MA, Emily worked in healthcare settings, supporting children facing serious illnesses and their families.

Emily is passionate about empowering children to connect with and understand their feelings. Taking a non-directive, child-centred approach, Emily aims to create an open and safe environment where children can have their voices heard.

What do you enjoy outside of work?  

Outside of work, I really enjoy reading, playing football and spending time by the sea!
