The Purple Elephant Project

Fundraise for us

Whether you want to run a marathon or organise a raffle, run a school event or fundraise with colleagues, we’d love your support!

Check out all the ideas and information and please do get in touch – we’re all ears so can’t wait to hear your plans!

We really can’t emphasise enough the difference that your fundraising can make. Every penny you raise will help us to offer therapy to a child who really needs it. Your efforts will change their life. Thank you.

Events and Challenges

Looking for a challenge? Run, walk, cycle, swim or even skydive for The Purple Elephant Project! We’re excited to share that Matthew Fullalove will be running the 2026 London Marathon for us!  We can also offer charity places at two fantastic events this year; click on the name of the race below to register your interest

  • Richmond RUN-FEST on 14th September: 10k, half or full marathon, starting in stunning Kew Gardens and ending with a music festival in Old Deer Park
  • CABBAGE PATCH 10 on 19th October: a 10 mile race through picturesque roads and towpaths, crossing the Thames at Kingston and Richmond Bridges.

Or perhaps you’d rather organise your own fundraising event or challenge – from raffles to bake sales and quiz nights, we can support you with tips, advice and Fundraising Guidelines.

Do get in touch to discuss ideas or find out more!

School Fundraising

There is something incredibly powerful about children supporting children! Whether it’s your class, year group or your entire school, we’d love to talk to you about how you could get involved.

Linking your fundraising to national mental health awareness days is a great way to support mental health causes and raise funds for The Purple Elephant Project. Align with events like Children’s Mental Health Week (3rd–9th February), Mental Health Awareness Week (12th–18th May), or World Mental Health Day (10th October).

Whether it’s a dress in purple day, a cake sale, a sponsored challenge, a movie playtime, or you have your own amazing ideas, we invite you to join our herd and have fun while supporting a meaningful cause!

Corporate Support

From events and employee fundraising, to Charity of the Year partnerships and sponsorship, we welcome the opportunity to work with companies of any size, both local and national. We hope to share our passion for child mental health with your employees, and can ensure they truly know the big difference they can make to our small charity!

Community Groups

If you are part of a local community group or event committee, and would like to find out more about our work and how your group could get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

For local groups across Hounslow and Richmond, we’d love to come to talk to your group to share more about our work. So whether you’re in a Book Club or Beavers, Rotary or Rambling group, we’d love to hear from you – you could really help us to change a child’s life.
