Heathfield Nursery and Infant School held a fantastic fundraising event for The Purple Elephant Project during Children’s Mental Health Week 2025. The children expressed their individuality by wearing fun, colourful socks! From bold patterns to mismatched pairs, their creativity shone through.
The event was a huge success, raising £340, with many families donating beyond the suggested £1. The school community came together in a wonderful display of generosity, and the children’s enthusiasm was contagious. Beyond raising funds, Funky Sock Day helped highlight the importance of mental health awareness.
A huge thank you to the Heathfield Nursery and Infant School Community for their incredible support!
Parents: Could your child’s school get involved in fundraising for us? You can nominate The Purple Elephant Project for future fundraising events, Purple Power Dress Up Day or perhaps you could run a summer fete stall! We have plenty of
ideas to help.
Teachers and school staff: Consider supporting us during Mental Health Awareness Week (12th–18th May) or any time of the year. We can provide posters, balloons, and guidance to make your event as fun and successful as Funky Sock Day!
