Patrons

Our Patron: Munira Wilson MP

The Purple Elephant Project is proud to be supported by Munira Wilson MP, Member of Parliament for Twickenham and Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Education, Children and Families.
Munira has long been a passionate advocate for children’s emotional wellbeing and mental health. Her work has consistently focused on ensuring that children and families receive the early, meaningful support they need to thrive — from campaigning for a qualified mental health practitioner in every school to championing better support for kinship carers.
Her appointment as Patron comes at a pivotal time for The Purple Elephant Project, as we continue to deliver specialist creative therapies and emotional support to children and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, bereavement, and other challenges. Munira’s values and commitment closely align with our own evidence-based, long-term approach to creating lasting change for children.

“I am truly honoured to become Patron of The Purple Elephant Project. I’ve seen first-hand how vital their work is in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and giving them the tools to thrive. The charity’s commitment to early intervention and long-term support makes a life-changing difference to children and families.”
